«Trofeo Princesa Sofia»
2 – 9 April 2022
This month opens with one of the most significant events in the yachting world of the Balearic Islands. The international sailing regatta “Trofeo Princesa Sofia”, will be held in the bay of Palma de Mallorca. Its scale is colossal: the competition attracts athletes from 53 countries of the world. This prestigious competition, organized by the International Sailing Federation, is attended by yachts of Olympic categories. The number of participants is about 1500 people, including Olympic champions, winners of European and world championships in the categories 470, RS:X, Laser Standard and Radial, Finn, 49er, Match Race Feminin, and Vela Paralímpica. Easter
The main event for locals in April is undoubtedly Catholic Easter. On Maundy Thursday, the spectacular procession “The Blood of Christ” takes place in the capital. Good Friday is celebrated with solemn masses in churches and the reconstruction of scenes from the Bible in memory of the birth and death of the Savior. And the main Easter service is held in the Cathedral.
Palma International Boat Show & Palma Superyacht Village
April 28 – May 1, 2022 in Moll Vell port.
The Palma International Boat Show opens the Mediterranean yachting season in the port of Moll Vell in Palma, a unique setting at the foot of the cathedral. It is expected to exceed the 227 exhibitors and the 185 boats that the event had in the last edition, which represented the first fair in the sector to be held in person after COVID-19.
The Palma International Boat Show includes the Palma Superyacht Village, which displays superyachts over 24 meters in length from the international brokerage and rental market, as well as an area dedicated to Refit & Repair, aimed at experts and professionals in the nautical industry. MYBA Charter Show Barcelona
April 25 – 28, 2022
The 32nd MYBA Charter Show is planned for late April 2022, welcoming a superb fleet of superyachts to Barcelona’s Port Vell. This is a Professional Trade Show with a long history and dedication to quality. It is an important business gathering, bringing together the world’s leading luxury charter professionals and providing them with the opportunity to appraise some of the finest yachts available for charter, meet with the boats’ captains and crew, and explore an exceptional array of ancillary services. The Show originally started in Genoa, Italy, and was held there for almost thirty years before moving to Barcelona in 2017.
The wonderful setting of Ocean Port Vell was chosen for future shows, where it has been hosted annually ever since and where it is expected to remain for the foreseeable future. The Milestone Mallorca 312

This is the longest cycling event for sportive cyclists held in Spain, covering 194 miles (312 kilometers), through the most amazing routes of the magnificent Mallorca

The event is now in its eight years and grows in popularity with each edition. To help riders get around within the time limit, there is a ‘Green Dot Group’ of local riders who set a steady speed in order to finish inside the allocated time.
