52º Trophy S.A.R. of Princesa Sofia
In Mallorca, several events are held annually under the patronage of the royal family of Spain. Usually, members of the royal family are personally present at the presentation of trophies.
As of every year Real Club Nautico de Palma hosts the 52º Trophy S.A.R. of Princesa Sofia on April 1-3. This is the Eurosaf Champions Sailing Cup regatta and is a qualification for Olympic, Paralympic and Dragon class, in which teams from more than 50 countries participate.
40º Copa del Rey
Another race organised under the patronage of King Philip VI of Spain is the Regata Copa del Rey – R.C.N. Palma will be held 30 July – 6 August. This year will be the 40th anniversary. An amazing event, in which about 100 sailing yachts from different countries participate annually. Incredible entertainment and scope give this event a global significance in the yachting world.
The Superyacht Cup Palma
Another grand event will take place on June 29 – July 2, 2022. The Superyacht Cup Palma regatta, traditionally organised by the Real Club Nautico de Palma, is one of the largest on the islands.

Palma International Boat Show
Special attention should be paid to an event that has been taking place for many years at the Real Club Nautico de Palma – Palma International Boat Show and Palma Superyacht Show; which will be held 28 April – 1 May. Nice atmosphere, huge variety of yachts, from small motor yachts to superyachts. You can spend the whole day there, regardless of whether you are a professional yachtsman or just a curious guest.
Menorca and Ibiza also host various regattas and stages of yachting competitions. Having taken a yacht for a week, you can go around all the islands, enjoying the sea and the sun, peace or speed, watching and relaxing.
